I've been adopted. Whoo-hoo!
Hi! My name is Stevie Nicks and I am a super-cute and very friendly young teenage girl. This is being written on July 14, 2011 and it's estimated that I am about 8-10 weeks old.
I'm so active, happy and playful that it's hard to believe I was once fighting for my life. You see, I had been separated from my mother WAY too young by people who didn't understand the importance of keeping a baby bunny with her momma until weaned at about 8 weeks old. They took me away from my mommy at 2-3 weeks old and fed me the wrong stuff too. They didn't want to pay for veterinary care to help me get healthy, so I was surrendered to San Francisco Animal Care and Control (SFACC).
The nice people at SFACC gave me emergency vet care and a place to rest for a few days. Then I came to SaveABunny, where a foster mom helped me get all healthy again. I am doing GREAT!
So that's my story. I am now living with some other young bunny friends and might be happiest if you'd consider adopting me along with one of them or as a friend for your neutered boy bunny.
I am still too young to be spayed and so my adopter must sign a spay contract in order to bring me home.
Thanks for reading about me and I hope to meet you soon!
