Bogart (boy)
Status:
Adopted on Jul 13 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Francisco Animal Care and Control
Bogart is one of the 29 rabbits recently surrendered at a Bay area animal shelter. He is a very cute, recently neutered white bunny. He is a bit shy at first, but generally very curious, inquisitive and active when he settles in. Bogart's coat is still a little stained from living in a neglectful situation before he came to SaveABunny, but he's otherwise in good shape. Plus, he's REALLY cute and a little silly. We think you'll love him. We are still working on the rescue of Bogart's friends still at the shelter. Adoptions and foster homes for the rabbits on-site will help us make room to save others. |

Pom Pom (girl)

Adopted on Jun 29 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Jose Animal Services
My name is PomPom. Yes, I know I'm very cute and little. I'm a netherland dwarf. I may be tiny, but I think I'm a big bunny. So, please respect my cage space. I expect at least a proper greeting before your enter my space. It is MY room, you know. I gentle stroke on the top of my head is just the thing! I prefer an experience bunny guardian who does not mind a strong-willed fiesty bunny. I'm easy to hold when I'm not in the mood to explore. I love being carried around in a softly lined basket when I'm ready to leave the comforts of my room. If you don't mind me being the little boss, then I'm the bunny for you! 6/29/2010 - I'm so happy! I've been adopted by my foster parents! I'm a lucky bunny. Thank you, SaveABunny! |
Suki and Turnip-formerly Carmello at SFACC
Status:
Adopted on Jun 22 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Francisco Animal Care and Control, San Jose Animal Services
My girlfriend,Suki is beautiful---isn't she?! We are a bonded pair of dwarf mix rabbits(spayed and neutered, of course)and must be adopted together. Please Watch our video! Suki and Turnip Video We are listed in the special needs section because we are not sure if Suki gets seizures. She sometimes acts a little "off' for a few seconds and then is fine. So, we are in a foster home getting monitored and are still available for adoption to a bunny savvy home. We LOVE to get a lot of exercise and run and play! Usually you can find us cuddling next to each other. We always beg for kisses from each other, pushing our head underneath the other's chin. Please meet me soon!

Sasha (girl)
Status:
Adopted on Jun 20 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Jose Animal Services
My name is Sasha. I'm a spayed young rex bunny girl who has lots of energy and loves to play and dance. Would you believe it? I'm a snuggle, lap bunny as well! I'm fast on my feet and I'm stronger then I look! I like to turn my cardboard houses over and sit in side them or run around them. I'm a good hay eater and I go silly for pellets, greens, or small pieces of healthy fruit. If you want to hear the pitter patter of little bunny feet and have the patience for a young bunny's boundless energy, I'm the girl for you! I do have allergies though to pine pellets or pine litter and toys. I do very well with Critter Country litter. 6/20/2010 - I've been adopted by my foster family. I'm soooo happy! Thank you SaveABunny for saving my life and connecting me with my human family. |
Moseley (boy)

Shelter of Origin:

I was just adopted by some really nice people! However, despite being malnourished and very poorly cared for, we are actually all really sweet, gentle rabbits. We are just a little shy at first. We are curious, mellow and sweet and healing up very well.We will soon be available for adoption. It would be ideal if I could be adopted with a friend or as a companion to your rabbit. I am an Angora mix, so whoever adopts me should enjoy brushing and grooming me every day! Please visit us soon! |
Sierra (girl)
Status:
Adopted on Jun 18 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Jose Animal Services
My name is Sierra. I'm a young spayed bunny, 9 months old as of 4/2010. I'm may be young, but I'm planning to grow up to be a huggable larger bunny! I'm all about fun and play. I'm curious and LOVE to explore. I have a good sense of humor and enjoy making you laugh with my antics. I would be a good family rabbit since I'm easy to get along with. I like my hay and munch on it continuously as a healthy grazer should. Having a litter box full of hay for me to play in my idea of a good time. I would like to lay in it to rest and just turn over and snack on a blade of hay. Ahhh! Bunny heaven on earth. If you have have never experience big bunny love, here's your chance. Don't pass me up! I'm on display at the Humane Society of Silicon Valley 6/18/2010 - Good news! I've been adopted. Thank you, SaveABunny for giving me the chance I needed to find my human family. LL |
Licorice (girl)
Status:
Adopted on Jun 18 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Jose Animal Services
My name is Licorcie. I'm a young Havana bunny girl. I'm about 3 months old(as of 4/18/2010). I've been told that I'm quite endearing. I'm a gentle girl who enjoys being massaged and who feels comfortable being lovingly held in your arms. I have big wonderful ears to listen to you after a long day of work or school. I'm a cautions explorer. It takes me a little while to roam around and make the area my own. I'm just getting to know each nook and cranny or my space. I like to understand all the new scents and smells of a new place. I don't mind noises like the washing machine, dryer, or TV. They don't bother me much, but when it's nice and quiet I can do a pretty good bunny flop. I'm loveable so come meet me and find out if you are my human. 6/18/2010 - I've adopted! I'm now best bunnies with a handsome bunny named Hazel. Thank you, SaveABunny for finding me a wonderful forever home! |

Malcolm (boy)
Status:
Adopted on May 29 2010
Shelter of Origin:
Solano County Animal Care
I've been adopted...Yeah! A message from Malcolm: It's Malcolm !!! Remember me? The cute little boy with his "little grey pants"? I miss all of you at "SaveABunny" so I am sending each and everyone of you a BIG "Bunny Kiss". I wanted all of you to know that I am very thankful to each and everyone of you for all of your love, care, support, devotion and hard work which made me be the bunny that I am today. Its because of all of you that I was able to find my "forever home" with Lisa. I also wanted you to know that I am doing fine and that I am very happy at my new "forever home". I have a big custom made three story mansion that's fit for a king. I spend my sleeping hours there at night and I have plenty of stretching room for napping during the day if I choose. It even has an attached playpen for when Lisa is not home so I am safe and comfortable. I also have a big backyard in which to do my "binkies" in, with supervision of course. Lisa and I spend a lot of time out there together. I also have a possible new friend, a cat named Boo Boo. She is an older gal and a little stand-offish but with my irresistible cuteness and charm I will win her over in no time. It didn't take me long to adjust to my new "forever home" for Lisa has been very patient with me and doesn't expect me to be something that I'm not. She takes things slow with me and gives me a lot of "love rubs" on my head. For instance, I seemed to be using my litterbox for snoozing rather than what I should be using it for and at the same time I was doing my "duty" somewhere else. Well, Lisa put my litter box in the other area and now I use my litter box for doing my "duty". She helped me see that I had plenty of room to lay anywhere that I wanted and that the litterbox was for the dirty things. Otherwise, I have been a very good boy. I get lots of Timothy Hay and Orchard Grass Hay and occassionally for a treat, Oat Hay. She gives me fresh veggies and my limited amount of Timothy Pellets. I am going to meet my veterinarian tomorrow, don't worry nothing is wrong with me, its just for a check-up so a baseline can be established for my continuing care through the years. You know, a handsome boy like me has to keep his weight and figure in tip-top-shape. Well, I must go now. I will always keep all of you in my thoughts and in my heart forever. Don't forget me for I am the cute boy with the "little grey pants." Love, Malcolm and Lisa ----------------------------------------------------------- Please visit me soon.

Adopted on May 1 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Jose Animal Services
My name is Cappucino. I'm a a sweet little bunny with soft gentle eyes. I'm growing up with my Mother Schatzi, brothers, and sisters right now in a happy family. Even so, I'm looking foward to having my forever home and very own person to love and snuggle with. I'm young and playful. Curious and fast. I love to jet around the obstacle course of cardboard tubes and willow tents. My siblings like to dance around. We binky and shake are ears alot because we are a happy litter. We were born at the shelter and feel very fortuante to be in a foster home. We get daily goodies like fresh hay, alfalfa pellets, organic dark leafy greens, and a healthy portion of delicious snacks. So, feel free to continue spoiling me silly. I'm easy to fall in love with! I'm too young for surgery right now ( born 3/17/2010), but my spay/neuter will be arranged and covered in my adoption fee of $50. |
Schatzi (girl)
Status:
Adopted on May 1 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Jose Animal Services
My name is Schatzi. I'm a very friendly and sweet bunny girl. I'm smallish right now, but I'm sure to grow to a medium sized bunny. I just had 4 baby bunnies at the shelter, 3/17/2010, after being abandoned by my so-called guardian. My baby bunnies' photo is included below. I'm a very good mother bunny and I take good care of them. I will be spayed after they are weaned and old enough to take care of themselves. If you adopt me or my babies, the adoption fee of $50 includes the spay/neuter surgery. The is a donation and goes into the rabbit medical fund for PAWS for the San Jose Animal Care Center. Check out www.PAWS4SJACS.org for more information. If you'd like to help more needy animals at the San Jose Animal Care Center, check out - www.PAWS4SJACS.org Thanks for considering adopting a rescued rabbit. Thank you SaveABunny for posting me on your website! |
Macchiato
Status:
Adopted on May 1 2010
Shelter of Origin:
San Jose Animal Services
My name is Macchiato. For those who don't know much about coffee, my name literally means "espresso stained/marked with milk." I'm a special treat! I'm one of four little ones who are being cared for by our mother Schatzi right now. We were born 3/17/2010. We are being loved and snuggled by each other, but will need a forever home and a loving human family to care for us in the future. I'm the smallest of the bunch, but don't let that fool you. I'm all Binky Bunny! We love to dance around our play area hopping in and out of a box full of hay, hussling through cardboard tubes, standing tall on top of boxes, and exploring any new obstable course you design for us. Come meet my family and you'll understand why bunnies are such popular house pets! |
